NVDA [10/12] Protection

Going floppy (15 mins)

Watch video of IB Wandsworth (3 mins) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PnL2C8RGeA&t=62s It’s important to note that it looks worse in the film than it is in reality!

We might be lifted or dragged by police or the public. If you don’t want to be dragged that’s fine, just stand up and walk. Explain it is not compulsory when being arrested, but a useful tactic between the road and the police van to maximise police resources.

In the case of IB - After being arrested, non-cooperation in the police station is not advised as the idea to get released from the police station asap - but this may or may not apply in future actions

NOTE:The point of this exercise is to demonstrate the effectiveness of going floppy when being removed or dragged as opposed to being stiff, rigid and trying to resist.
