NVDA [5/12] Spectrum: Violence-Nonviolence, Not Being Violent, Health and Safety

Set up a flat-ish triangle across the room marked as follows: ● one corner is ‘violent’, ● the other corner is ‘not-being-violent’, ● the flat apex is ‘nonviolent’.

See diagram:

Explain there are 3 locations on the triangle and that there is a continuum between them.

Ask for examples of each one, if people get stuck you can give the following examples to help further illustrate each.
